Role purpose
Manage consulting engagements and coordinate client-facing data programmes so that scope, schedule, quality, risks, dependencies, decisions and handover are controlled.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver QDKC-aligned client work using the official guides, templates and frameworks relevant to the engagement.
- Assess client evidence, facilitate workshops and produce traceable recommendations or implementation deliverables.
- Develop with client stakeholders delivery plans, milestones, dependencies and governance cadence.
- Facilitate and coordinate client multidisciplinary teams and external providers.
- Manage engagement work and support clients in managing risks, issues, changes, decisions and escalation.
- Track engagement evidence and help clients track progress, budget, quality and acceptance criteria.
- Transfer knowledge to client personnel and document decisions, assumptions, dependencies and handover requirements.
- Respect client governance: consultants advise, facilitate and deliver, but do not replace the client's accountable owners, approvers or governance bodies.
Recommended minimum requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, business, information systems or a related field.
Experience: Typically 5-9 years managing technology, data, analytics or transformation projects.
Core competencies: Integrated planning, Risk and issue management, Stakeholder leadership, Agile/hybrid delivery, Vendor coordination, Executive reporting
Preferred certifications
Preferred, but not mandatory:
- PMP
- PMI-ACP or equivalent agile credential
